Job summary

Michaels in Charleston West Ashley is seeking a part-time Morning Cashier to provide a fast, friendly checkout and customer service, while helping customers find products and supporting stocking and merchandising. You will also assist with BOPIS/SFS, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card programs, and participate in store recovery and safety initiatives. The role requires standing for long periods and a willingness to work mornings, weekends, and early shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly checkout experience and assist customers at the store.
• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties; maintain stock and planograms.
• Engage customers on Michaels Rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in store recovery, SISO/AD set duties, shrink and safety programs.
