Job summary

Right at Home Upstate SC is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes in the Anderson area. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help with routine tasks to improve quality of life.

Role includes lifting up to 30 lbs, driving to client locations, and providing respectful, client-focused care. Full-time opportunities with flexible scheduling and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
• Background check and drug screen required in accordance with policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living needs (bathing, toileting, ambulation).
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Give medication reminders as directed.
• Take clients on walks and accompany to social events or run errands.
• Prepare simple home-cooked meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Caregiver duties do not include medical or skilled services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living needs (bathing, toileting, ambulation assistance)

Requirements:

• High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate


• Read, write, speak, and understand English


• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.


• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws


• Pass background check and drug screen in accordance with the Department of Public Health Policy.
