Job summary

Right at Home Upstate SC is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors with daily living, companionship, and mobility in the Piedmont area. You’ll support activities like bathing, meals, and light housekeeping while promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must have a current and valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living needs (bathing, toileting, ambulation).
• Companionship care.
• Medication reminders.
• Take clients to walks, trips to social events, assist with hobbies, or run errands.
• Prepare a home-cooked meal.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• A caregiver will not provide medical, nursing, or skilled services.
