Job summary

Charter One's The Academy of Before & Aftercare is seeking a part-time Teacher Assistant to support the Site Administrator at Wake Preparatory Academy Campus. You will help create a safe, engaging environment for students outside regular hours and support planning and supervision of activities.

The position runs mornings from 6:15am to 8:00am. Responsibilities include supervising students, leading activities, assisting with homework, and communicating with parents and the site coordinator.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass applicable background check.
• 18 years of age or older required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during before/after school hours.
• Engage students in age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with homework and provide guidance.
• Maintain clean, organized activity spaces.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and site coordinator.
• Support planning of enrichment activities.
