Job summary

Charter One is seeking Teacher Assistants for its Academy of Before & Aftercare programs at American Leadership Academy campuses. The role supports the Site Administrator in creating a safe, engaging environment outside regular school hours, with afternoon part-time shifts.

Responsibilities include supervising students, leading activities, assisting with homework, and maintaining clear communication with parents and the site coordinator. CPR/First Aid and background check required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass Applicable Background Check.
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during before and after school program hours to ensure safety and well-being.
• Engage students in age-appropriate activities including games, crafts, and outdoor play.
• Assist students with homework, answer questions and provide guidance as needed.
• Help students stay organized and focused on completing tasks.
