Job summary

Cart.com seeks a highly detail-oriented MoR accounting professional to own end-to-end MoR activities across its brands. You will oversee payment processing, settlements, tax compliance, and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and robust controls.

The role requires 3–7 years in payments/finance within ecommerce or SaaS, plus strong Excel/SQL skills. You will contribute to scalable processes and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in payments operations, merchant services, accounting, or finance in ecommerce/SaaS.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, settlements, merchant accounts, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounting and operational oversight of Merchant of Record activities across supported brands.
• Review, validate, and approve high-value transactions and settlements per thresholds and controls.
• Monitor and resolve urgent payment exceptions, including settlement failures, holds, chargebacks, and refunds.
• Maintain rigorous transaction-level review processes to minimize errors and revenue leakage.
• Serve as the primary liaison for payment processing, settlements, reconciliations, tax compliance, and reporting.
