Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident for access to USG facilities.
• B.S. in Aerospace or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines with software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with aerospace vehicle simulations and math model development.
• 2+ years experience with one or more spacecraft domains (avionics, power, thermal, dynamics, guidance, etc.).
• 2+ years experience with simulation/ML model verification and validation processes.
• 2+ years minimum experience with C++ and Python in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Git and Linux-based development.

Responsibilities

• Develop space vehicle system and subsystem simulation math model requirements, verify and validate them.
• Design and develop math models for spacecraft systems and subsystems including hardware and software.
• Distributed simulation development.
• Develop simulation scenarios to test nominal and off-nominal spacecraft operations.
• Perform analysis on simulation data to evaluate spacecraft performance.
• Present analysis results to customers and influence design decisions.
