Job summary

BGCMC in Monterey seeks a Site Supervisor for Casanova Oak Knoll Park Center to lead a youth development program for ages 6–14. Reporting to the Sr.

Impact Director, you will build a high-performing team and deliver engaging, outcome-driven activities across afternoon sessions at the Monterey site. This full-time, non-exempt role requires flexible hours, school-day programming, risk management and strong community ties with schools and city officials.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of management experience mentoring youth.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within 25 miles.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned team by making confident decisions with minimal supervision.
• Recruit, hire, and set the team culture of Youth Development Professionals and volunteers.
• Supervise and manage the work performance of direct reports.
• Oversee daily activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals, standards, and quality control expectations.
• Monitor staff progress in achieving weekly, monthly & quarterly goals by tracking their performance with defined objectives.
• Conduct introductory and annual performance reviews of Monterey site staff.
• Ensure Monterey site staff are trained in BGCMC processes and enrollment tracking.
• Benchmark progress to outcomes and support staff development.
