Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County (BGCMC) seeks an Impact Specialist I for the Monterey site to lead youth programs 6–14, focusing on academic success, literacy support and safe, engaging after-school activities.

You will report to the Site Supervisor, work at the Casanova Oak Knoll Park Center, and collaborate with families, teachers and volunteers to promote high school readiness and project-based learning.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Education or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years experience in youth development.
• Tech-savvy with AI, Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Internet for productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead youth programs for ages 6-14 in Monterey Bay area.
• Ensure a safe, positive, engaging Clubhouse environment.
• Provide homework support and college/career workshops; support youth readiness.
• Coordinate with Site Supervisor on hiring and training of staff and volunteers.
• Engage parents to support youth success and community partnerships.
• Monitor attendance and program quality to meet goals.
