Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County seeks an Impact Specialist I to drive youth success at the Monterey site. You will lead age-appropriate, outcome-driven programs for ages 6-14, focusing on academics, literacy, and life skills in a safe, engaging Clubhouse environment.

The role requires a four-year degree, 3+ years in youth development, strong communication, and reliability. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with a schedule 8am–7pm on weekdays and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Education or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years experience in youth development.
• Proficient with AI, Microsoft Office, Google Suite and internet for productivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as role model to youth exemplifying the pillars of Good Character & Citizenship.
• Deliver daily after-school activities for youth ages 6-14 in Monterey Bay area schools.
• Provide homework support for elementary and middle school youth; assist with college and career preparation workshops.
• Support membership enrollment, track attendance, and assist with recruitment strategies.
• Foster a safe, positive Club environment and ensure program compliance and safety policies.
