Job summary

BGCMC in Monterey County seeks an Impact Lead II-Middle School Readiness to guide teens ages 11–14, provide mentoring, homework help, and college/career readiness. The role adapts to school-day programming and after-school activities at our Monterey site.

You will model positive citizenship, lead teen programs, manage classrooms, recruit participants, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to advance youth outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience with youth aged 11–14.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, positive Club environment for 75–100 youth daily.
• Serve as a role model and mentor for youth.
• Lead teen programs and college/career workshops.
• Support school-day programming and homework help.
• Lead enrollment strategies to meet program goals.
• Maintain safety and classroom management at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as needed.
