Job summary

Kennametal Inc. seeks a CNC Tooling Sales and Application Engineer to support the Montana territory. The role combines machining background with sales acumen to grow tool sales, provide technical direction, and improve customer productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining industry experience.
• 1–2 years of technical sales and/or application experience preferred.
• Proficient in product knowledge, applications and troubleshooting; tailor solutions to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue targets by delivering metal-cutting solutions to Montana customers.
• Generate and manage sales leads, prospects and new accounts.
• Lead pre-sales activities: demos, pricing, terms, and sourcing; maintain CRM records.
• Develop strategic territory plans to achieve revenue goals and promote new product sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
• Provide timely responses to technical and commercial pre-sales queries.
