Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Monitor Tech to observe and interpret patient cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors, report abnormalities to nursing staff, and maintain telemetry supplies. You may orient new staff and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities include cardiac rhythm interpretation, reporting abnormalities, telemetry supply management, patient safety, professionalism, communication, training and support, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic Arrhythmia Recognition required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment.
• Fingerprinting is required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Hospital experience is desirable.
