Job summary

Snap Inc. is looking for a Technical Program Manager who will lead cross-functional, high-impact programs across engineering teams.

You will own critical initiatives from ideation through execution, partnering with product leaders to shape roadmaps and drive architectural decisions. Hands-on in Python, SQL, and dashboards, you’ll analyze data to guide programs and build automation for platform-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years leading cross-functional software/tech programs in a data-driven environment.
• 3+ years in Technical Program Management with cross-functional scope.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale, ambiguous programs across distributed teams.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with data-driven decision making.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Grafana/Looker/Tableau), source control (GitHub), and ticketing (JIRA).
• Experience working with engineers on technical design, architecture trade-offs, and roadmaps.
• Comfort operating with high visibility and accountability; ownership mindset.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering groups.
• Own single-threaded ownership for critical programs and manage ambiguity and dependencies.
• Oversee full lifecycle from ideation to execution and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to shape roadmaps and technical decisions.
• Use Python/SQL and dashboards to guide programs with data and communicate insights.
• Build automation tools and internal systems to improve velocity and reliability.
• Balance development programs with platform-excellence initiatives for reliability and performance.
• Drive operating rhythm and cost-conscious scaling across the product and infrastructure.
• Mentor junior TPMs and engineers to scale organizational performance.
