Job summary

Snap Inc. seeks a Staff Technical Program Manager for ML Platform to lead high‑impact, cross‑functional programs at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent years of experience.
• 11+ years of experience spanning Engineering / Data Science / Technical Program Management leading cross‑functional efforts in a data‑driven software/tech environment.
• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale, ambiguous programs across distributed teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Strong proficiency with Python and SQL, and experience using data to analyze systems, build tools, or inform decisions.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Grafana, Looker, Tableau), GitHub, and JIRA.
• Experience with engineers on technical design, architectural trade-offs, and roadmap planning.
• Comfort operating with high visibility and accountability; ownership and impact.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new domains, systems, and technologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross‑functional programs spanning multiple engineering organizations with technical depth.
• Act as a single‑threaded owner for critical programs, managing ambiguity and dependencies.
• Own full lifecycle from ideation to execution to operational excellence delivering outcomes.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to shape roadmaps and drive decisions.
• Use data analytics (Python, SQL) and dashboards to guide programs and communicate insights.
• Contribute to internal tools and platform-wide improvements to boost reliability.
• Work across development and platform excellence programs focusing on reliability and performance.
• Drive operating rhythm of the business ensuring scalable, cost-conscious engineering systems.
• Mentor and grow junior TPMs and engineers to scale org performance.
