Job summary

Helpmates in Montebello, CA is hiring a Customer Service Representative for an on-site, Monday–Friday role with a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule. You will support customers by coordinating accurate paperwork, billing, order fulfillment, and issue resolution alongside warehouse personnel.

The ideal candidate has strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus, basic math and computer literacy, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Some college education and two years of business experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
• Basic math, computer, word processing, and Warehouse Management System knowledge preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, initiative, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process inbound and outbound paperwork, verify data, and reconcile system information.
• Prepare customer invoices for receiving, outbound processing, month-end billing, and additional services.
• Maintain organized billing records and customer files.
• Serve as the liaison between warehouse personnel and customers to communicate information and resolve concerns.
• Monitor orders, prepare professional correspondence, and identify opportunities to recommend value-added services.
