Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is hiring for a full-time position in the Molecular Department on the 2nd shift in Austin, TX. The role involves moderate to high complexity testing, data review, and reporting of results, with emphasis on safety and quality control.

The candidate will require a BS in Medical Technology or a related field with MT training and ASCP certification, plus strong analytical and communication skills. Excellent benefits and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.
• Or Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training.
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing
• Analyze, review, and report testing results
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
