Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a Microbiology Technologist II to join the Bacteriology team on first shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) with rotating weekends.

You will perform high-complexity microbiology testing on clinical specimens, read culture media, and identify microorganisms. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a science field, ASCP certification preferred, and 1+ year of clinical microbiology experience.

• Bachelor's degree in biological, medical, or laboratory science.
• Proficiency with general laboratory equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, analyzers).
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and pursue development.

Mansioni

• Perform high-complexity microbiological testing on clinical specimens.
• Read and interpret culture media to distinguish pathogens from contaminants.
• Identify microorganisms using manual and automated biochemical methods.
• Perform antibiotic susceptibility testing to guide treatment options.
