Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a Molecular Technologist II to perform moderate and high complexity clinical testing in the Molecular Diagnostics Lab. This role supports a broad test menu within a quality-driven culture and contributes to continuous improvement.

You will train staff, verify data in the LIMS, maintain instruments, and report results. This is a 2nd shift, full-time position offering collaboration within Sonic Healthcare USA.

Competenze

• B.S. in Medical Technology or related science with 2 years of lab experience OR M.S. with 1 year of lab experience.
• DNA/RNA extraction and PCR experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow written SOPs and verbal instructions with high attention to detail.

• Performs high complexity clinical assays according to SOPs.
• Maintains quality control and safety procedures.
• Ensures specimen integrity and proper processing.
• Maintains analytical instruments and service schedules; records documentation.
• Performs data entry and verification in the LIMS.
