Job summary

Toxicologic Pathology Associates (TPA), Inc. is seeking a Research Services Manager in Jefferson, Arkansas to oversee molecular pathology projects and laboratory operations.

You will coordinate study planning, resource allocation, and tissue preparation across labs in collaboration with the Molecular Pathology Manager. The ideal candidate has a biology-related bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience with IHC, ISH, TUNEL, and image analysis, plus strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related scientific discipline is required.
• Advanced education, specialized training, or equivalent relevant experience is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex research activities, multiple concurrent studies, laboratory schedules, or projects in biomedical research, molecular pathology, molecular biology, histopathology, or related labs is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of molecular pathology and related techniques including IHC, ISH, TUNEL, proliferation assays, image analysis, or other tissue/molecular methods is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee specialized research services, with emphasis in molecular pathology.
• Collaborate with the Molecular Pathology Manager to apply methods and SOPs, adapt or develop new techniques.
• Plan studies, schedule resources, and coordinate tissue preparation, testing, and procurement.
