Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis County is seeking a Surgical Pathology Technical Coordinator to lead and optimize the Anatomic Pathology workflow.

The role focuses on bench-level technical support, staff scheduling, workload prioritization, and ongoing mentorship for team members. Ideal candidates bring CT(ASCP) certification with 1+ year of lab experience; cytology/cytotechnologist exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• CT(ASCP) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience required.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Cytology or Cytotechnologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bench-level support within Anatomic Pathology.
• Coordinate daily workflow and staff schedules.
• Assess and prioritize workload.
• Train and mentor new team members.
• Support operational excellence and quality patient care.
• Mentors and/or trains new and established staff members and students.
