MaineHealth seeks a Director of Anatomic Pathology Lab to lead all operational aspects of the Anatomic Pathology Lab and manage human resources. This role oversees Regional Lab Managers, drives strategic planning, and ensures regulatory compliance while approving division budgets.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a relevant science, 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, and professional certification (ASCP/AMT preferred). Base pay is competitive with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Medical Laboratory Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• Certification: ASCP/AMT or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational aspects of the Anatomic Pathology Lab.
• Oversee Regional Lab Managers and HR decisions as needed.
• Drive strategic planning and alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within the division and budget oversight.
