Job summary

Staff Icons, LLC is seeking an experienced Clinical Lab Manager for Molecular and Microbiology to oversee 24/7 operations, regulatory compliance, personnel management, and quality programs within a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities include directing daily lab operations, supervising staff, ensuring readiness for inspections, managing budgets, and driving process improvements to support accurate and timely patient results.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of management experience in healthcare, clinical, or regulated environments.
Experience with regulatory compliance, quality management, and operational leadership.
Must have experience in Molecular and Microbiology lab.
Current NYS licensure or certification as applicable to the discipline.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day operations of assigned departments and services.
Provide leadership and oversight to supervisors and technical staff, ensuring efficient workflow and service delivery.
Conduct regular meetings with leadership and operational personnel to review performance, priorities, and initiatives.
Represent the department in organizational committees, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives.
Perform all responsibilities inherent to a management role and other duties as assigned.
