Job summary

LabMinds Staffing & Recruiting, LLC seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist to perform high-complexity testing in a hospital-based setting. You will oversee technical operations, QC, and regulatory readiness, working independently with leadership support.

The role covers microbiology, transfusion medicine, molecular testing, and infectious disease safety, with responsibilities including training staff, interpreting results, and maintaining instrument quality in compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field required.
• ASCP/AMT or equivalent national credentialing preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity testing across microbiology, transfusion medicine, molecular testing, and infectious disease disciplines.
• Evaluate, interpret and report accurate results; ensure sample suitability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues; train staff and supervise MLTs/LSTs.
• Maintain QC programs and ensure regulatory readiness (CAP/CLIA/JCO).
