City of Hope seeks a licensed clinical laboratory leader to serve as Manager of the Clinical Laboratory, with full responsibility for the Microbiology Laboratory. This leadership role directs daily operations, ensures quality, and partners with the Medical Director to advance strategic microbiology initiatives.

The candidate will oversee staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, driving performance and continuous improvement within a complex clinical setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
• Five to seven years of clinical laboratory technical experience.
• Three to five years of management experience.
• Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by the State of CA.

Mansioni

• Direct the day-to-day technical and operational activities of the Microbiology Laboratory.
• Oversee staffing, performance management, and professional development of microbiology personnel.
• Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and fiscal planning for microbiology services.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, CA regulatory requirements and accreditation.
• Promote quality, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement in microbiology testing.
