Qualifications

• Licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist in one of the specialty areas to which the position is allocated.

Responsibilities

• Perform molecular testing in a clinical lab including oncology testing, pharmacogenomics and/or infectious disease testing.
• Manage and execute laboratory work required for translational research projects.
• Train visiting/junior staff including students and residents.
• Develop and implement new clinical molecular diagnostic testing procedures and clinical trial tests.
• Maintain laboratory procedures, quality control, and LIS-related tasks.
