Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a manufacturing operator to perform start-ups, inspections, and mold tool handling in a high-automation environment in the United States. The role emphasizes safety, data recording, and teamwork to maintain continuous production and quality.

The position supports plant goals for safety, quality, GMP and ISO, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, color changes, changeovers and necessary adjustments to insure processes are in control at all times.
• Perform daily machine inspections
• Re-start Molding machines after first-shot approval.
• Clean mold cavities
• Hang mold tools
• Troubleshoot the machines and peripheral equipment as needed
• Enter data onto production and quality paperwork
• Assist Molding CPO and PETs as needed
• Perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO as required by company policy.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.
• Within the confines of the job, ensure the safe operation of all equipment prior to turning it back over to running production.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, and ISO.
