Job summary

Amcor is seeking a dependable production operator to perform machine start-ups, color changes, changeovers and daily inspections in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will support molding operations, troubleshoot equipment, enter production data, maintain safety and GMP standards, and contribute to Amcor's commitment to quality and continuous improvement across our packaging facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, color changes, changeovers and necessary adjustments to insure processes are in control at all times.
• Perform daily machine inspections.
• Re-start Molding machines after first-shot approval.
• Clean mold cavities.
• Hang mold tools.
• Troubleshoot the machines and peripheral equipment as needed.
• Enter data onto production and quality paperwork.
• Assist Molding CPO and PETs as needed.
• Perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO as required by company policy.
• Conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.
• Within the confines of the job, ensure the safe operation of all equipment prior to turning it back over to running production.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, and ISO.
