Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Muscatine, IA seeks a Process Technician I-III to safely maintain molding machine processes, ensure quality and efficiency, and cooperate with the team. You will communicate equipment issues to the Shift Supervisor and work within EHS/GMP standards to meet production goals.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 3pm–11pm shift, a starting pay of $24.00 per hour plus a $1.25 shift differential, and a pathway to $27/hr within the first year, based on performance

Qualifications

• Capability to keep pace with the production cycles.
• Time management, physical dexterity, and constant attention to detail.
• Tolerance of repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all EHS/GMP policies.
• Lockout/tagout and Molten Polymer procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Set up machines/automation with correct process settings for quality finished product.
• Start up and shut down machine/automation.
• Respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance to correct malfunctions.
• Monitor and maintain molding equipment/automation to meet efficiency standards.
• Respond to Quality Technician adjustments to maintain quality specifications.
• Understand First Shot process and interaction with Quality Technicians prior to running finished product.
• Understand Line Clearance and production changeover responsibilities.
• Inspect scrap to identify root causes of defects.
• Assist Production Associate for relief during breaktimes.
• Accurately complete required documentation.
