Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Process Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) in Gaffney, SC. Base pay is $25.00 per hour with $1.00/hr shift differential. Qualifications

• Good knowledge of injection molding presses.
• Good knowledge of all plastic materials and resins.
• Must be able to pass Process Technician knowledge assessment.
• Good human relations – ability to work closely with others.
• Knowledge of mold design and layout (Mold venting & cooling systems).
• Able to perform under any given working conditions.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Successfully complete LOTO Authorized Training.
• Successfully complete Crane and Rigging Authorized Training.
• Successfully complete Forklift Authorized Training.

Responsibilities

• Train Mold Technicians and Mold Setters on best practices on the floor.
• Communicate needed improvements to the Group Leader and employees.
• Troubleshoot machines and plastic processes and maintain efficiency.
• Set up molds, processes and secondary equipment, and ensure first piece quality.
• Support safety procedures and preventive maintenance.
