Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Process Technician to lead and train Mold Technicians and Mold Setters on best practices in the injection molding environment. The role emphasizes improving process efficiency, quality, and safety on the floor.

The position requires hands-on experience with molding presses, tooling setup, and preventive maintenance, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding presses and production equipment.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and resins.
• Ability to pass Process Technician knowledge assessment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with mold design, venting, and cooling systems.

Responsibilities

• Train Mold Technicians and Mold Setters on best practices.
• Communicate improvements to Group Leader and staff.
• Troubleshoot molding processes to improve quality and efficiency.
• Set up molds, tooling, fixtures, and secondary equipment.
• Perform mold start-ups, cycle checks, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure safety and compliance with EHS policies.
