Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Quality Control Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm). You will analyze quality problems, operate lab equipment and precision measuring tools, calibrate instruments, and support the molding department to maintain production standards.

Benefits start day 1 and weekly pay are included. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, experience with precision measuring equipment, ASQC certification or an associate degree in Quality

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.
• Two years’ experience as a QC Inspector, preferred.
• 20/20 vision or corrected vision with good color discernment.
• ASQC certification, associate degree in Quality Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve quality problems and initiate corrective actions.
• Operate lab equipment and precision measuring tools.
• Coordinate database management and quality reporting.
• Calibrate all precision instruments and keep calibration records.
• Assist in special studies and projects as directed by the QC Engineer.
• Maintain production standards and support the molding department.
• Promote safety and environmental programs in daily work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
