Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Process Technician in South Carolina. The role trains Mold Technicians and Setters, troubleshoots injection molding equipment, and ensures efficient processes with safety compliance.

Base pay is $25.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift, with weekly pay and benefits starting on day one. The position requires knowledge of injection molding presses, plastics materials, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of injection molding presses.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and resins.
• Ability to pass Process Technician knowledge assessment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Knowledge of mold design and layout (venting & cooling).
• Able to work under varied conditions; non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Complete LOTO and Crane & Rigging trainings; Forklift training.

Responsibilities

• Train Mold Technicians and Mold Setters on best practices.
• Communicate improvements to Group Leader and staff.
• Troubleshoot molding machines and optimize cycle times.
• Install molds, set up processes, and prepare first piece for inspection.
• Maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and safety compliance.
