Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 2nd shift position in Gaffney, SC. The role involves servicing molding presses, material handling, and coordinating with supervisors to meet production goals. The job requires forklift operation, machine operation, and strong communication.

You will work Monday through Friday, 3pm–11pm, with benefits starting on day one and weekly pay. The company emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and teamwork on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience and be able to operate molding presses.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines and operators are serviced as the internal customer, communicate priorities, and follow safety procedures.
• Move finished goods skids to the correct area in a timely manner.
• Change out scrap gaylords and manage material and color changes on molding presses.
• Supply necessary materials to presses (resin, cardboard, skids, etc.).
• Collaborate with shift supervisors on kanban boards and shifting priorities.
• Report safety issues to the supervisor promptly and promote 5S housekeeping.
