Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a Mold Setter for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 11pm–7am) to prepare and maintain molds in presses. You will connect water lines, ensure cooling, and cycle presses with proper safety measures.

Applicants should have mold setting or related mold experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits start day 1 and weekly pay. Join a manufacturing team dedicated to quality and efficiency in a non-temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Mold Setting experience preferred.
• Processing and Setting Molds experience preferred.
• Machine Operator experience required.
• Mechanical ability and reading labels.

Responsibilities

• Assist to set scheduled molds in presses for production and sample orders.
• Connect water lines to molds to ensure proper cooling without delays.
• Set all switches on presses after molds are set for cycling readiness.
• Properly set safety bars and switches to ensure safe operation.
• Set mold protection on presses to prevent damage and extend mold life.
• Spray molds and remove them without damaging molds or presses.
• Clean up equipment and supplies and organize mold stock.
• Hang molds in press with care to avoid damage to locating rings or components.
• Ensure tight clamping between platens to prevent mold movement.
