Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional testing and visual quality checks.
• Communicate non-conforming material to quality group and management.
• Complete required paperwork/documentation for products.
• Pack finished products into cartons and label contents.
• Maintain communication to resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Perform line clearances of equipment before and after production runs.
• Ensure labels match work order information.
• Record problems and reasons for stoppages during production.
• Assist with cross-training and on-the-job training of associates.
• Transport in-process and finished materials; manage inventory as needed.
• Contain rejected raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods.
• Organize and store raw materials at workstations.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties as needed.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement teams (5S, blitzes, shift start-up).
• Maintain a clean, organized workplace (5S) and manage scrap/tote disposal.
• Other duties to support business needs.
