We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mold Maker! This role will be based out of our Injection Molding plant located in Pineville, NC.

The successful candidate will be able to operate machine shop equipment to support successful product production. Activities include ensuring safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to meet plant goals.

Position offers:

• Full-Time, Permanent Position with Benefits + COBRA reimbursement during transition
• 12 paid holidays annually
• Plant annual bonus program
• 12-hour shift schedule (4 on 4 off; 84 hours bi-weekly) with bi-weekly pay
• Relocation may be available

Requirements

• Manufacture and repair molds and tooling
• Troubleshoot mold issues and implement corrective actions
• Participate in 5S, SAFE, and continuous improvement programs
• Understand production planning, quality standards, lean manufacturing, safety laws (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, 5S)
• Knowledge of mold making, production, setup, and plastic injection molding

Knowledge And Experience

• Minimum 18 years old
• Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of machine functions, measuring tools, CAM (EdgeCAM), CNC practices
• Math skills including trigonometry, advanced mechanical proficiency, CNC knowledge
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently
• State/Federal approved Mold Maker or Tool & Die Journeyman's Card is an asset
• Ability to read, write, perform advanced math; operate forklifts and hand tools
• Understanding of ANSI/ASQC A9002 procedures
• Successful completion of drug screen, physical, background check
