Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $36.00/hr

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of plastic manufacturing equipment. Experience in plastics manufacturing is preferred but not required.

  • If you are hired, we include a $1,000 sign-on bonus! We also offer excellent benefits, including three weeks of paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, and annual performance-based merit increases.
  • Training will be given on 1 st shift 8 hours M-F then transition into a 2-2-3, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate shop equipment, including milling machines, band saws, drill presses, lathes, welders, concrete drills, torches, and electrical testers.
  • Properly use a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Obtain training and certification for forklift and aerial lift operation as required.
  • Utilize the overhead crane in compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Assist with mold changes on injection molding machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair injection molding and auxiliary equipment.
  • Maintain facility services, including water, compressed air, and electrical supply.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and complete assigned work orders using a computerized PM system.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Accurately document all maintenance activities.
  • Identify and communicate the need for spare or replacement parts.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including:
    • Lockout/tagout
    • Fall protection
    • Electrical safe work practices
    • Personal protective equipment requirements
What We Require

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or completion of a trade school certificate, diploma, or degree.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
