Job Summary

Would you like to apply your skills in an innovative production facility? If so, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Molding Operator. This position is based at our new automated injection molding plant in Pineville, NC. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will operate molding presses and related equipment to produce fittings, ensuring safety, quality, output, housekeeping, and cost control to meet plant goals.

Position Offers

• Full-Time, Permanent Position with comprehensive benefits

• 12-hour rotating shifts (4 days on, 4 days off; 84 hours bi-weekly) with bi-weekly pay

Job Responsibilities

• Introduce and remove regrind from presses during production
• Start-up and shutdown production presses
• Identify, clear, and troubleshoot alarms
• Operate dryers, thermolators, heaters, etc.
• Set up and operate feed systems for each press
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with molding equipment
• Check runner and stem alignment
• Adjust processes to improve product quality and cycle time
• Identify non-conformances and assist in corrective actions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to use basic hand tools; forklift experience preferred

Working Conditions

• Requires mobility: walking, standing, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, lifting 50-75 lbs.
