Entegris, Inc. in Chaska, MN is seeking a Mold Maker to build, revise and maintain molds, tooling and fixtures with CNC expertise. The role involves documentation, mold assembly and proactive troubleshooting, with strong growth potential and relocation assistance if needed.

The position offers a second shift with flexible hours and overtime opportunities. Compensation ranges from $34.00 to $40.00 per hour, plus benefits and sign-on bonuses, reflecting experience and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in mold making.
• 2-year degree in mold making or completion of qualified apprenticeship program.
• Knowledge and use of SolidWorks/Creo.
• Programming skills for CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam.
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive pushing and sliding of mold plates and mold inserts.
• Periodically, this position requires repetitive hand, wrist, and grasping of objects with fingers for extended periods of time.
• Ability to visually detect quality defects.
• Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Building of new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling.
• Repair to allow quick turn-around with issues as they arise within competency level.
• Maintains current and appropriate documentation in mold files.
• Completes all job-related documentation.
• Operates Tool Room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC Mills, CNC EDMs and CNC Lathes).
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems related to mold cycling and tooling as required.
• Assembles production molds and cleans molds following standard procedures.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
