Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Mold Maker to build, revise, and maintain molds, tooling, and fixtures, performing machining and mechanical processes. Open to relocation assistance for those not near the Chaska, MN facility.

You will act as a key support to production teams on the second shift (2nd shift, 1:30PM-9:30PM with overtime opportunities or 1:30PM-11:30PM 4 days/week) with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include building molds, repairing issues for quick turnaround, maintaining mold

Qualifications

2-year degree in moldmaking or completion of an apprenticeship program.
Knowledge and use of SolidWorks/Creo.
Programming skills for CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam.
Ability to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand during entire shift.
Ability to perform repetitive pushing and sliding of mold plates and mold inserts.
Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule as required.

Responsibilities

Build new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling.
Repair molds to allow quick turnaround with issues as they arise within competency level.
Maintain current and appropriate documentation in mold files; completes all job-related documentation.
Operate Tool Room equipment (CNC Mills, CNC EDMs and CNC Lathes).
Troubleshoot mold cycling, mold function in the press, and tooling issues.
Complete miscellaneous tasks in support of production goals.
Assemble production molds, clean molds, and reassemble as required.
Complete other duties as assigned.
