Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Mold Maker to build, revise, and maintain molds, tooling, and fixtures, performing machining and mechanical processes. Open to relocation assistance for those not near the Chaska, MN facility.

You will act as a key support to production teams on the second shift (2nd shift, 1:30PM-9:30PM with overtime opportunities or 1:30PM-11:30PM 4 days/week) with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include building molds, repairing issues for quick turnaround, maintaining mold

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in moldmaking or completion of an apprenticeship program.
• Knowledge and use of SolidWorks/Creo.
• Programming skills for CNC mills and lathes using Mastercam.
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive pushing and sliding of mold plates and mold inserts.
• Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Build new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling.
• Repair molds to allow quick turnaround with issues as they arise within competency level.
• Maintain current and appropriate documentation in mold files; completes all job-related documentation.
• Operate Tool Room equipment (CNC Mills, CNC EDMs and CNC Lathes).
• Troubleshoot mold cycling, mold function in the press, and tooling issues.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks in support of production goals.
• Assemble production molds, clean molds, and reassemble as required.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The mold maker is responsible for building, revising and maintaining Entegris-owned molds, tooling, and fixtures by performing machining and mechanical processes, methods and techniques. With proven performance the opportunities to grow into a larger or different role exist. Providing additional support to the production teams.

Open to providing relocation assistance if not living close to the Chaska, MN facility.

$3000 Sign-on bonus

Second Shift Hours MONDAY-FRIDAY 2nd SHIFT, 1:30PM-9:30PM with overtime opportunity or 1:30PM-11:30PM 4 days/week

Responsibilities

• Building new molds along with mold inserts for existing tooling.
• Ability to repair to allow quick turn-around with issues as they arise within competency level.
• Maintains current and appropriate documentation in mold files. Completes all job‑related documentation.
• Operates Tool Room equipment at a high level of competency (CNC Mills, CNC EDMs and CNC Lathes to proficient competency).
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems related to mold cycling, mold function in the press, miscellaneous tooling and fixtures as required.
• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.
• Assembles production molds, cleans molds following standard procedures, and reassembles as required.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

• 2-year degree in moldmaking or completion of a qualified apprenticeship program.

• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Periodically, this position requires repetitive hand, wrist, and grasping of objects with fingers for extended periods of time.
• Ability to visually detect quality defects.
• Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule as required.

• Compensation is $34.00 - 40.00 + (based on experience)
