Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Mold Maker to join our team in Chaska, MN. You will build, revise, and maintain molds, tooling, and fixtures, using CNC Mills, EDMs, and Lathes, to support production.

The role requires a 2-year mold making degree or apprenticeship, ability to read work instructions, lift 50 lbs, and work overtime/on-call. Relocation assistance available; shift is Monday–Friday, 1st or 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in mold making or completion of qualified apprenticeship program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and perform math computations and computer data entry.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive pushing and sliding of mold plates and mold inserts.
• Periodically, this position requires repetitive hand, wrist, and grasping of objects with fingers for extended periods of time.
• Ability to visually detect quality defects.
• Ability to work overtime and on-call schedule as required.

Responsibilities

• Build new molds and inserts for tooling.
• Repair to allow quick turn-around with issues.
• Maintain mold documentation and records.
• Operate CNC Mills, EDMs, and Lathes proficiently.
• Troubleshoot mold cycling and mold function in presses.
• Assemble and clean production molds per procedures.
• Complete duties to support production goals.
