Job summary

Superior Tire & Rubber Corp. is seeking a Weld Fabricator to support mold manufacturing by fabricating, welding, finishing, and repairing metal components.

You will read blueprints, prepare materials, operate welding equipment, verify weld quality, and collaborate with engineers and team members to meet project specifications. The role requires MIG/TIG/STICK welding, precision measuring, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and dimensional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Weld / fabricate to join and repair metal components.
• Cut, shape, and assemble parts according to specs.
• Prepare, fit, tack, and assemble components for welding.
• Grind, finish, and polish welded surfaces to ensure a clean finish.
• Read blueprints and use measuring tools to verify dimensions.
