Job summary

Toyo Tires in Georgia is seeking a skilled Fabricator to build and repair molds, read technical drawings and blueprints, set up CNC machines, lathes and grinders, and perform precision machining to meet exact dimensions and surface finishes.

You will inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, repair and refurbish molds, collaborate with engineering to optimize designs for manufacturability, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, document all work for traceability, and uphold safety standards in

Qualifications

• Experience reading technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints related to mold design and repair.
• Perform precision machining to achieve required dimensions, surface finishes and tolerances.
• Inspect and measure completed mold components using precision tools to ensure accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints related to mold design and repair.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders, and other equipment to fabricate and repair mold components.
• Perform precision machining operations to achieve required dimensions, surface finishes, and tolerances.
• Inspect and measure completed mold components using precision tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to ensure accuracy.
• Repair and refurbish existing molds by identifying and addressing issues such as cracks, wear, or dimensional deviations.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize mold designs for performance and manufacturability.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting issues as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document work performed, including repairs and modifications, for traceability and future reference.
