Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Welder Fabricator 1 to join our manufacturing team. You will MIG weld steel and aluminum, read blueprints, and set up parts using fixtures and clamps. The role requires attention to safety and the ability to interpret welding symbols and specs for accurate fabrication.

Responsibilities include welding, cutting, grinding, and inspecting finished welds, while maintaining equipment and ensuring product quality in a hazardous environment. Prior MIG welding experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine welding process.
• Read tape measures and calculate fractions for precise fabrication.
• Follow safety protocols in a hazardous environment.
• Set up parts for welding using tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG & TIG welding on products to meet specs.
• Weld and assemble metal pieces, perform cosmetic welding as needed.
• Meet daily productivity targets and production outputs.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness and safety compliance.
• Maintain and prepare materials and equipment for welding tasks.
