Job summary

United Employment Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in plastics injection molding and tooling to lead advanced mold design and process optimization.

The role requires hands-on experience in mold building, MFA analysis, GD&T, and Six Sigma, with a proven track record in project management and cross-functional collaboration. Extensive knowledge of SolidWorks and machining tools is essential for delivering high-quality tooling solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Plastics/Polymer/Mechanical or related engineering or equivalent experience in mold making/design or tooling.
• Experience with plastics injection molds and designs, mold building, resins, injection equipment and methodology.
• Proficient in 3D CAD for product/tool design (SolidWorks preferred).
• Experience setting up, running, and interpreting mold filling analysis (MFA).
• Solid knowledge of injection molding processes and operations.
• Demonstrated project management skills; proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge of GD&T and formal PM methods and software is desirable.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is advantageous.
• Mold-making background and scientific molding experience.
• SolidWorks 3D CAD experience at a professional level.
