Job summary

Amcor Tolleson, AZ is seeking an experienced Mold Technician to perform mold changeovers, cleaning and maintenance, machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and production support on our injection molding line. This role ensures molds and equipment operate safely and efficiently while producing quality parts in line with GMPs and HACCP requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with Quality Control to resolve product quality issues and complete required documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience.
• Injection molding and mold maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance procedures.
• Effective communication with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Clean molds and machines and remove residue to prevent contamination.
• Perform mold changeovers and assist with mold maintenance.
• Inspect molds and replace damaged cavities and components.
• Monitor press alarms and optimize cycle times.
• Work with Quality Control to resolve product quality issues.
• Follow GMP and HACCP practices and safety procedures.
• Complete mold books and downtime sheets.
