Amcor LLC in Tolleson, AZ seeks an experienced Mold Technician to perform mold changeovers, cleaning, and maintenance on our injection molding equipment. You will troubleshoot, adjust cycles, and support production while ensuring safety and GMP/HACCP compliance.

The role involves teamwork and a fast-paced environment on first shift. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with Husky or B&B equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience.
• Experience with injection molding, mold maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsabilités

• Clean molds and machines and remove residue that could contaminate parts.
• Perform mold changeovers, grease molds and carriers, and assist with mold maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect molds and replace damaged cavities, cores, and other components.
• Apply silicone spray to designated areas as required by procedures.
• Monitor press alarms and identify mold, machine, and production issues.
• Make authorized machine adjustments to optimize cycle times and part quality.
• Inspect guards and shielding to ensure proper part entry into stacking equipment.
• Assist operators with equipment problems and belt jams.
• Work with Quality Control to resolve product quality issues.
• Complete mold books, downtime sheets, and other required documentation.
• Follow Quality Policy, GMPs, HACCP, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
