Job summary

Amcor Tolleson, AZ is seeking an experienced Mold Technician to perform mold changeovers, cleaning, maintenance, and machine adjustments on our injection molding equipment. You will support production to ensure safe, compliant operations and high-quality parts.

Responsibilities include mold changeovers, grease, mold inspections, alarm monitoring, and coordinating with Quality Control. High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years' related experience is required; experience with Husky or B&B

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and other work-related documents.
• Mathematical skills: ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers and decimals.
• Reasoning ability: ability to follow written and verbal instructions and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Clean molds and machines and remove residue that could contaminate parts.
• Perform mold changeovers and grease molds and carriers; assist with mold maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect molds and replace damaged cavities, cores, and other components as authorized.
• Monitor press alarms and identify mold, machine, and production issues.
• Make authorized machine adjustments to optimize cycle times and maintain part quality.
• Assist operators with equipment problems and color/material changes; support mold technicians in other areas.
• Work with Quality Control to resolve product quality issues.
• Complete mold books, downtime sheets, and other required documentation.
